Moon's Blah Blah Blog

Moon's Blah Blah Blog--A lot has been happening since I last wrote. I've been getting ready for college. Am going to South University Online take BS in Criminal Justice. Classes start August 5th so I can't wait. I am so excited and scared at the same time. I think I have everything I need (except ink for my printer) and hope everything goes smoothly on Thursday. One good bit of news is the Court Clerk where I work asked if when he becomes Acting Judge and then Judge, if I would be his Court Clerk, I said Yesssssssssssss without hesitation and he said this will help me with my classes. So, crossing fingers and toes.

Besides college classes starting on the 5th, I have Election Training on the 10th, then our Big Fireman's Parade on the 14th, and my high school reunion on the 21st. I hope my Dad gets to come get me so I can go, and bring him and my step-mom Norma too. It will be so great to see everyone that I haven't seen in 25 years!!!.

Well, off to bed I go as the morning comes quick and work. Good night!

Dear Diary

Dear Diary, Remember when I was a teenager and I use to write in you every day? Those were the good old days. Recently I found one of my 5-year Diaries that came with a lock and key. Of course the key is lost but the clasp was broken off. I think I broke it off once when I couldn't find the key, lol. Anyways, I remember writing in that diary faithfully every day about everything and anything. A lot was said about a certain boy I had a really big crush on him. He was my first and I will always love him. It's funny how you never forget your first true love. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I use to live on a farm so there were always things to do and this one time, my 'crush' (don't want to give names, lol) and I were thinking of things to do. We were out behind the old hay barn and saw this rusty station wagon, so we decided to push it up the hill and ride it down. It seemed easy to push and not before long we were at the top of the hill. Of course we couldn't start it as it had no key so we decided to coast down the hill. At first the station wagon went slow but as soon as it hit the last part of the hill, it took off really fast. Before we got to the bottom, my 'crush' says, "The brakes don't work!!" I said, "OMG how are we going to stop because on the other side of that old barn is the creek?" The only thing we could do is crash into the old barn. There was a big bang and we plowed through wood and stopped real quick into a big pile of old hay. Phew!!! But we did get into trouble for crashing the barn so that summer we spent fixing up the old hay barn, laughing as we did it because it was a fun and thrilling ride.

That is all for today, dear diary. Until next time...~~Moon~~

Another new day...

As the clock ticks down and another new day approaches, I am very excited and scared at the same time. Like I said before, it's been 25 years since I last went to school so this will be a big experience for me. I was young having children so I missed out on the college life. But I don't regret my children at all. I love each and everyone of them. More thoughts later....

PaperBackSwap :: Personal Messages

PaperBackSwap :: Personal Messages

This is where you can go to swap your old books that you have read or don't want anymore. You sign up and post 10 books, then they give you 2 books (credits) automatically. Choose those now (or wait) and who ever has those books, pays for shipping them to you. When you want a book, and as long as you have a credit, choose that book. If someone wants one from you, they ask for it. You choose whether you can send it or not. Shipping costs about 2.17 to 3.77 depending the weight of the book and they go by Media Mail. Once that person gets your book, they check the book in, and you get a credit. Then, if you are like me, you can't wait to get another book, so you search for the one you want, etc etc. And you get to meet new people. Have fun! Oh, btw (by the way), if you do sign up, say I recommended you so we both get credits, thanks!!!

Facebook

Facebook What are you up to today on facebook? Are you there for friends or family or both? How many hours do you spend a day on facebook? If I was to take your facebook away, what would you do? Come on, admit it, you are addicted. How many games do you play? How many apps do you have installed? What is your favorite?

Evil...

‎"Hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil"...all growing up, I use to have my boys do this and take pics. When my 4th son was born, we had him shrug his shoulders, as "Who cares about evil?". Recently I saw an ad where the 4th monkey was holding a cell phone, saying, "Text no evil". So now that's what my 4th son does, lol. (the girls want no part of this, lol)

FCA Reunion 2010 - Stottville- Eventbrite

FCA Reunion 2010 - Stottville- Eventbrite To all my friends who have ever went to Faith Christian Academy in Stottville, NY, here is the update on the Reunion next month. I hope to see everyone there as I have always felt like we were one big happy family and I know a lot of you will agree with me. I still can't believe its been 25 years for me, and I will be starting college online for the first time since. Do I hear a "Woot woot!!!"

more thoughts on college

Some may know this but I panicked and changed colleges yesterday. Also I listened to everyone else but my advisor and my heart, but now I am back on track and going to finish what I started. I'm still enrolled in South University and still take the Associates degree in Allied Health Science. No matter what medical job you get, it's always a good idea to have an Associates degree. And I found out that when you take the New York State tests for medical billing and coding, you have to have an associates degree. I don't want just a certificate as most employers overlook that.

Sometimes you will see changes in this blog because I am still trying to figure this thing out. I have added new buttons so you can honestly tell me if you like my blog or not. I appreciate any and all advice for the blog. I really didn't like their choice of backgrounds so I picked the one that looks like raindrops. Does anyone know if you can download your own backgrounds?

I think tomorrow I'll start posting poems and whatnot. Things I wrote over the years. If anyone has any suggestions on what I could write, something you want to read or know about, let me know.

And so I am out of things to say, lol just joking because of all the people who know me, once I get going I can never shut up. Hahahahahha. I will probably write more later. Hope you all have a good day!!!
